Double Attack Blackjack
A variation of Spanish 21, known as Double Attack Blackjack, is mostly played in Atlantic City, in the state of New Jersey, in the United States. If you are successful in this game, your initial wager will be doubled, and you will also have the opportunity to double your bet after viewing the dealer’s first card.
At Double Attack, you can additionally participate in an additional sidebet if you so desire. This additional game is referred to by a few different titles, including Bust It!, Bust Out, and Buster.

The use of eight decks of Spanish cards is one of the key distinctions between this variant of blackjack and standard blackjack. Due to the fact that the tens are removed from the deck, a Spanish deck only contains 48 cards. The remaining values are unaltered in any way.
Double Attack Rules
The standard guidelines for play have been applied to this game. Having said that, there are a few notable outliers:
- Following the conclusion of each round, the deck of cards is given a new order. The dealer receives one card face up and one card face down, and he or she is allowed to cheat in order to determine whether or not they have blackjack. This only applies if the card that is now exposed is an ace or a ten-point card. If this is the case, he will provide all of the players with blackjack insurance against cheating. The initial wager will then be multiplied by 2.5 times then doubled.
- The game is over for the dealer whenever he gets seventeen points or more in his hand, and he is only dealt the first card with the face-up position exposed. The remaining cards are dealt out with their backs hidden.
- The first and last cards that are dealt to the players are shown to them face up. You are allowed to split your hands into as many as four different hands, but aces cannot be split again. You will only be dealt one additional card after you have divided aces.
- You are only allowed to double your wager one time every hand, and that must come after either the initial bet or the Double Attack bet. You will only lose your original wager if the dealer has blackjack if you put a Double Attack bet while the dealer’s up card is an ace or ten-point card and you have an open card yourself.
At any point during the game, you have the option to either double your bet or surrender.
Side bet rules
In the Bust It sidebet, you have the option of placing an additional bet that is either equal to or less than the first bet on the possibility that the dealer would “bust” with three cards, which means that he will have a total score that is higher than 21.
The dealer will play the third card to determine whether or not they have won the side bet if you break or get blackjack before this happens. You will lose the side bet if the dealer wins or does not bust while you are playing. When the dealer busts with more than three cards, players must follow a new set of rules.
In most cases, the only way for you to win the side bet is if the dealer goes broke after drawing three cards. Your potential winnings are highly dependent on the card that the dealer ends with. Your wager will be multiplied by three and doubled if the third card is a ten.
A nine doubles your bet six times. If the third card is an eight, then your wager will be multiplied by eight times. If you get a seven, your wager will be multiplied by ten, and if you get a six as your third card, it will be multiplied by fifteen.
Last but not least, you have an opportunity to win more money if the dealer goes broke after having an eight as his third card and another eight in his hand. Your profits will be multiplied by 50 if both eights are black or red, and they will be multiplied by 200 if both eights are the same color.
For example, if both eights are spades, your bet will be multiplied by 200. The following two criteria, however, are only applicable if the dealer holds three eights rather than two, as stated by a number of different sources.
Additional Bust It Rules
If the dealer busts with more than three cards, additional winnings may be available to you in this bonus game at certain online casinos. Your stake will be doubled whenever the dealer busts with three or four cards, regardless of the value of the cards in their hand, when this occurs.
Your wager will be multiplied by four times when you have five cards, and it will be multiplied by twelve times when you have six cards.
If the dealer has seven cards in hand when he busts, your bet will be multiplied by fifty times; if the dealer has eight cards in hand when he busts, your bet will be multiplied by as many as two hundred and fifty times.
